Copyright is a challenging subject within Education not least in terms of e-learning. It is essential that you are aware of the dangers and constraints when adapting or using external resources that you have not created yourself. Many of the rules that exist with physical copyright also exist with online content. There are many alternatives including Creative Commons and Open Educational Resources but these still may contain clauses about the extent of their use.
