VLE (Moodle)

Moodle is the Virtual Learning Environment for the Grimsby Institute Group. It is a highly flexible tool that can be used to support student learning. As a bare minimum Moodle, can be used to provide students with access to learning materials and resources associated with their course. Further to this Moodle’s flexibility allows tutors to use it as a powerful assessment, grading and tracking tool as well as providing enhanced interactive resource such as videos, e-learning resources and other content.

Currently we are in a period of transition from Moodle 1.9 (Blue Moodle) to Moodle 2.5 (‘New Moodle’). This process will be complete in September 2014.
